Flag dates from 1859-1861 and flew during the beginning of the civil war.Has a fair amount of holes but overall good to very good cond.It is a sturdy flag and it can be handle w/care but it is delicate as it is thin cotton construction.It is a single applique flag.Displaying side of cut away portion of field.It can be displayed in either direction.Measures 7 x 10'.Machine sew with some hand sewing in areas.Very common for this era.
