I'll spare you the usual cobblers about finding it in granny's attic and I will just use the new get out clause that is becoming popular: Sorry we cant verify the makers, as we don't have any documented evidence. So sold as a tawse only. Anyway, this is a lovely 3 tailed tawse. It is made from high grade, ox hide saddle leather, which is thick and flexible. Now, flexible does not mean floppy, this strap has enough inherent stiffness to make it highly controllable, even in the horizontal plane. Dimensions: 24 3/4 inches long; 30mm wide; thickness varies between 7 and 8mm. Weight: 112 grams. This tawse packs a powerful punch! Quality, well it is superb, this is a professionally crafted item, which is also properly finished; all edges are bevelled and burnished, even the underside is finished smooth.
