Description
A very fine example of the black laquer and gold colored brass "Swing Pak" cigarette case from the 1939-1940 New York World's Fair, includes original box and instruction insert. Designed to hold the smaller non-filter packs such as Camels or Lucky's. This case has a hinged and springed top lid for inserting the pack or removing a cigarette for use. Actual case size is 3" X 2 1/4" X 1". Fully marked/signed on bottom and the box top reads: "The Modern Cigarette Case". Your first impression upon removing this case from it's box is that it is brand new and unused, however it does have a series of very light scratches and deeper chiggers mostly on the back (possibly from storage or manufacturer) and it does have slight discoloration to to the metal (back rightside metal rib). The box does have a fair amount of storage wear. This is a beautiful case with an awesome amount of overall gloss and it would be very difficult to find one in better shape. Priority Shipping is $5.00. Thank you for looking.
