The office of John Edgar Hoover, director, sent out this poster. In 1938 the office of H. B. Fletcher, special agent in charge of the FBI, sent out a notice to watch repairmen to be on the lookout for Clarence Vernon Stevens. He was believed to have in his possession a Waltham. 7 jewel watch. If this watch appeared in their shop they were to notify the FBI. A fun set of documents for an unusual collection!
