If something is not clear, don’t guess or assume, please ask.  If we are not familiar with an item we may not know if something is missing, or if it is "right", and that lack of knowledge is not an attempt to deceive. Photos are part of the description.  Some box lots are not described individually in order to list with no reserve and a low starting price, but we will try to answer questions about a particular item you see in a box lot if possible.  Box lots are as is as found. Included in the total shipping there is a 1.00 packing material/handling fee for this auction.  Most items are double boxed so keep that in mind when looking at the shipping costs.    Payment due within 7 days of auction end.  Paypal only and please, for buyers who are not aware of ebay's policy change, this is not our choice, ebay no longer allows sellers to offer the other options we used to be able to take. SHIPPING: DO NOT PAY UNTIL INVOICED PLEASE!  The total from the shipping calculator will probably be more than actual shipping and handling for several reasons!  We pass on the discount we receive for purchasing labels online, the shipping calculator does not give you that discount.  Estimated box size and weight will be on the high side as a caution to make sure we do not lose money (items are not ours, we only make a small percentage of the sold price, and we prefer to stay in business), adjustments will be made after the auction is over and we have packed, occasionally it may be higher than guestimated.  We believe the ability to answer questions and add photos when asked is more important than being exact on a shipping quote so again, the shipping calculator is a guide and not guaranteed to be correct, it will be close most the time but not always.    If Fed Ex is less than parcel post we will offer that as an option.  Some insurance is included for free by the post office for international shipping, the shipping calculator does not account for that and charges the insurance.   We have to collect sales tax for NY sales and the tax can not be predetermined because the rate in NY state depends on where the item is delivered to and applies to the shipping fee also.  LOCAL PICK UP is always welcome but if the item is packed buyer will have to pay the packing materials/handling fee stated in the auction.  INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS:  Insurance is required on all auctions so no first class international, sorry. The auction sold price is the only amount that will be used on insurance or customs forms. If an item can not be insured to your country for the auction price or it is prohibited to ship that type of item to your country we may have to sell to the back bidder, it is your responsibility to know your country's limits and restrictions.  Occasionally insurance limits on priority international are not enough to cover the item(s) so it may be split into multiple packages or sent express.  Paypal requires signature confirmation for anything over 250.00, so we require it also for our own protection. DAMAGE/RETURN POLICY: If you receive a damaged item either party can start a claim, do not throw away the box or packing materials until it is inspected. If you receive an item and it is significantly different than we described, contact us within 3 days of receipt so that we can reach an agreement we are both satisfied with, either a return or partial refund. Since the change to the feedback system we have seen attempts at veiled or subtle threats from bidders trying to extort a partial refunds with feedback, not wanting to return the item, but attempting to just get it cheaper.  If we feel that is the case a return with full refund will be the only option and that threat will be reported to Ebay.  If we made a mistake or missed something just verify it with a photo or whatever is needed to shows us what we did wrong, and we will work with you to resolve the issue, no problem, no threats necessary. Items returned must be done so with insurance and delivery confirmation.    SALES TAX  will be invoiced for all NY state buyers unless a valid resale number is provided. Fees, shipping costs and international shipping rules are present in every auction We answer all questions We invoice the morning after an auction We offer a buyer options for shipping so they can choose speed vs. cost We email upon payment receipt and let you know when we are shipping We ship same or next day We send a partial refund if you pay before we invoice and the shipping is less that guestimated The law requires us as a business to charge sales tax for in state transactions If you did not take the time to read what we took the time to explain it is not our fault.  It is not fair to nip at our stars after the auction for reasons that were clear before you bid but you still made the choice to bid, bidding is agreeing to all terms, and nipping at stars after that because you did not like the terms but bid anyway is a contradiction.  It is not fair to blame the seller if your shipping choice sacrificed speed to save on the post office cost for priority mail It is not our fault that the post office does not allow international first class or flat rate envelopes to be insured, we are obligated to protect our consignors from lost or damaged merchandise and can not use the cheaper shipping that has no insurance option It is not our fault paypal or ebay will not allow buyers to waive insurance and assume responsibility, you can still file a paypal claim even if you said you would not, and then we are out the value of the item if it was not insured, buyers have gone back on their word to us before so we will not risk it again We can not help it if the post office does not bother most of the time (especially for parcel post) to scan boxes to show their progress We are not responsible for what the shippers charge or how long they take to get it there once we drop it off We are not sure what else we can do to provide better service or professionalism, yet still try to make each transaction a personal one.  Since Ebay ties feedback stars (DSR) to item listing visibility and fees paid, we owe it to our consignors to do the best we can for them, without risking their interests financially - that is not an easy balancing act.  So please consider all these factors before you leave feedback, and let us know if and why we have not met your expectations if you feel we have not, so we can correct it.
